Helping Families Handle Cancer (HFHC)
Working alongside pediatric oncology social workers, HFHC provides timely financial support
to families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis. For many families, reduced work hours or
lost employment can create significant financial pressure at a time when their focus needs
to be on their child’s care.
Donor support helps local families cover everyday expenses and ease the financial stress that
can accompany a medical crisis. Assistance is provided quickly, with most families receiving
support within 24 to 48 hours.
HFHC is working toward a future where families navigating childhood cancer have access to
the financial support they need, allowing them to focus on their child’s treatment, well-being,
and time together.
